I know many computer programmers and UNAMINOUSLY! the website format we chose for this new Q&A forum has been WILDLY successful and popular with programmers. This format is apparently now the top resource for programmers worldwide when they have questions, and our goal here was to bring this unique program set-up to the raw community )) FINALLY, there is now a place where you can get ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED about your health and the Raw Food Diet!!!

I’d love to share WHY and how this new website has the potential to be such a successful and useful resource for us all. There are many message boards out there where people can discuss topics, but this type of format is usually ‘flawed’ in the respect that before a really solid answer is given, there are often other answers that don’t necessarily contain any really valuable information. Rather than helping, these answers take up space and make it more challenging to find the great answers, simply because they answered first.
So, instead of using a standard message board format, I wanted to use this new dedicated Q&A format, which allows the users of the site to ‘vote’ on answers.

With this system, if you are reading a question with five answers and you see that the fourth answer has what you feel is the best information, you can give it a ‘thumbs up’, so that it naturally floats up to the top of the answers, indicating it has good content. When you ask a question or provide an answer that gets voted on, you enrich your profile on the site. This system is also pretty much ’self-moderated’, as any questions or answers that don’t get any votes/responses gradually fall out of the picture, leaving a rich tapestry of useful sharing.

When you visit the Q&A Forum, you will see a list of questions and the different answers and votes each Q has received. When you click on any question, you can see who asked it and the various answers (if any), below. This site is BRAND NEW and just went live YESTERDAY, and I am DELIGHTED with how much ACTIVITY has already taken place there, so RAPIDLY. I highly recommend getting in there and getting your feet wet!

I feel that this new website is going to help in the continuing co-creation of a vibrant community. This new format is different to other online communities where you make “friends” and can message each individual friend. In this new community, one does not create private lists (email or lists of friends), as it would hinder the wider develoment of the community. The purpose behind this is that we want everything to be open and viewable to all. So therefore, your friend list is everyone on the site. When you have a direct question for someone, you can put it in a comment to one of their questions/answers, as more than likely your question or message will be related to that person’s content anyway. The site is centered around questions and answers and builds content steadily, like a ‘wiki’…we love it and hope you will too!

The Raw Food World Radio Show – with Dr. Leonid Sharashkin

What could be a more PERFECT time than NOW for us to interview Dr. Leonid Sharashkin. Leonid is the person who translated the “Anastasia” series of books from Russian to English!!! Additionally, Leonid has a lot of personal experience in gardening. You can probably now see the reason why this seems like the PERFECT time for us to interview him… We have just moved to Vilcabamba and we are getting started with gardening and the ‘Anastasia’ way of life!!!

You can imagine why we are SO EXCITED to interview Leonid!!! I have so many questions for him. The main one being… Of course… “Does Anastasia exist?”. We all may have a good idea of what his answer will likely be, however, I don’t intend to give up easily with this question. We’re going to push some buttons and go DEEP into the truth…

Additionally, we have many other questions for Leonid in regards to the Anastasia way of life and permaculture. Lastly, we heard a rumor that a tenth Anastasia book has been released. I want to know if this is true and if he plans on translating it any time soon!!!
