There are many different types of juicers depending on your needs. There is the centrifugal (Omega 9000), centrifugal ejection (Omega 4000, Breville Juice fountain), masticating (Champion), single auger (Omega 8001 and Hurom), and twin gear (Green Power, Green Star).
TWIN GEAR
We will start with the twin gear juicers. They have the highest nutrient quality and get the most juice out of the vegetables. About $400 - makes very high quality juice - will keep well for abt 24 hours or more, if in sealed mason jars in fridge. Leaves dry pulp, is great with greens, not very tough to clean. Many of us personally use the Green Star. We love it. Check them out HERE:

SINGLE AUGER
Our other favorite is the Hurom and Omega VRT330 (made by the same manufacturer, no product difference). The single auger juicers are great for wheatgrass and greens. However, the juice comes out with pulp a lot of pulp in it. You can just strain it with a nut milk bag, unless you are like many of our customers and appreciate a bit more fiber in your juice. It takes less muscle power to operate than a twin gear so the juicing process is faster and easier. Clean up time is about the same as a twin gear.

MASTICATING JUICER
The Champion is great for fruit, carrots, and everything. One of our owners used that for many years and had absolutely no problems with it. Some people claim that it heats up the juice, especially greens. We like to get the most juice out of the vegetable and the highest nutrient quality and that is why we prefer the twin gear or single auger.

CENTRIFUGAL JUICER
The centrifugal ejection juicer is another good one with the right brand. The pulp however, does come out very wet and you get unjuiced greens. The Breville juice fountain is the best centrifugal ejection juicer. It is a smooth fast juicing experience. You can use a lot of vegetables at one time. The centrifugal without the ejection is terrible, because while you are juicing you have to empty it out…so be careful if you are shopping around with different models other than the Breville.

We are in unanimous agreement that ALL juicers are a pain to clean the first time. However, they become routine and soon feel like second nature.

The only juicer we like that we don’t sell is called a Norwalk. They are INCREDIBLE in terms of the juice quality they produce - it stores well for up to 72 HOURS in jars in fridge. Unfortunately, we find them very un-user-friendly ;) They are about $2000 - incredible machines.
In the end the best juicer for you tends to be the one you're actually going to USE ;)
