This is a mushroom mycelium product. In this mycelia, or vegetative stage, the mycelium provides extracellular compounds and metabolites that function to promote longevity and vitality. This mycleum biomass is at its most potent form and THEN processed. This has never been possible before, because they didn't have the milling capabilities, freeze drying facilities, and techniques to grow the mycelium like Debbie has now. For now, we carry the TOP TWO mushrooms in this form... Reishi and Chaga. The processing of this product is long process and takes 8 weeks. The serving size is a tablespoon. You can eat one or two tablespoons at one time. You can just spoon it right into your mouth. It has a mild, pleasant taste and it is very digestible.

I also recommend putting it in smoothies, NOT hot tea. This is a raw product. We want to keep all of the delicate metabolites intact.

My favorite recipe is the following for one blender full of smoothie:

Fresh raw Almond Mylk

1/2 cup Coconut oil

2 tbsp Chaga

3 scoopers full (the scooper that comes in the package) of Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein Powder

1 tbsp Ground Vanilla Bean

sweeten to taste with favorite sweetener. I usually use part stevia, part local honey and part agave

1/2 cup of favorite fresh fruit juice or the whole fruit to taste. One of my favorites is mango! Or if you are in the mood for chocolate, you can leave out the fruit and add chocolate. If you are in the mood for vanilla, then leave out the fruit!

All Foods for Longevity products are packaged in a high oxygen barrier bag. After each use, squeeze all of the air out and re-seal the bag. Generally there is no need to refrigerate. *If planning on storing long term, a bit cooler environment is helpful.*
