**Please NOTE: Many people LOVE the fact that this juicer is faster and much easier to use than many quality juicers. With that being said however, the Hurom produces a good amount of pulp in the extracted juice. This can be shocking to folks not expecting it. We suggest purchasing a nut milk bag for straining.

Also, it is important that you be made aware of the following operational guidelines for the upright juicers (this includes the VERT):

Leafy Greens must be cut up prior to insertion - many customers do not cut up leafy greens so they get caught up on the screw.

Cut up hard vegetables - many customers do not cut up large hard vegetables such as carrots (i.e. they’re shoving whole carrots down the tube) so it crushes the strainer.

Gravity Feed only, no need for tamper/pusher - Many customers are using the tamper to overload the juicer, forcing large amounts of food down the tube.

Frozen Foods - This is really not an intended use for the juicer, even though it may work, it puts undue stress on the strainer
