Raw Almond Mylk { Makes about 6 cups}

INGREDIENTS

2 cups Awesome Almonds

Water

1 Tablespoon maple syrup, raw honey, 6 - 8 drops stevia, or 3 chopped datespinch of salt

pinch of vanilla powder (optional)

Specialty Equipment

Omega High Speed Blender

Nut milk bag

1. Add 2 cups almonds to your Vitamix, Omega, or High Speed Blender (use Awesome Almonds or soak raw almonds in water for 8 hours, rinse, and drain - add to blender).
2. Fill blender to 6 cup line with water.
3. Blend on high until almonds are in fine particles - about 60 sec
4. Pour almond milk through nut milk bag into a bowl. Squeeze and strain milk from pulp.Compost nut pulp or save and dehydrate to make almond flour.
5. Rinse blender and pour strained milk back into carafe.
6. Add: sweetener, salt, vanilla powder (if using) Blend on med for 10 seconds (longer if you are using chopped dates)
7. Pour into a glass container and chill - delicious!
