This product melts at 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and will harden again under that temperature. This does not affect the integrity of the product. If you live in a hot area and wish to have this shipped with ice packs, you may purchase them on our website here: ice packs. If temperature is a concern for you, we strongly recommend purchasing ice packs to help with transit, but The Raw Food World is not liable if your items arrive warm and the ice packs have melted.

We have this new Crystallized Coconut Sap Sugar in two sizes. The smaller 8.8oz size is perfect to test the product out, but I am telling you now that it won't last you long after you taste it for the first time! So, you may even want to start with the better value 21.16oz larger size!!!

Coconut sugar is derived from the sweet nutritious sap of the unopened Coconut blossoms. Small community farmers collect the fresh sap in short time periods to maintain its freshness and high quality. It is thickened under controlled heat to avoid over cooking which would affect the nutrients and acidity. Our coconut sugar is rich and moist, light brown in color, and has a pleasant sweetness with a distinct caramel coconut aroma.

Coconut sugar contains only 12 % sugars, and has a nutritional content far beyond all other available sweeteners; it is high in Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc and Iron, it is a natural source of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and C and amino acids (specially glutamic acid). Extremely low glycemic (35!) to favor weight control, people with hypoglycemia and diabetes.

Our Coconut Caramel Sugar is 100% natural, organic, unbleached, free from additives and artificial flavoring. Only sap from coconut trees are harvested, this is not palm sugar where other palm varieties would be used and compromise the exquisite quality.
