As many of you know, for the first 7 - 8 years of my Raw Food Life, I worked with a man named Dr. Fred Bisci, who has been on a 100% Raw Food Diet for almost 60 years now. For a living, Fred helps people who are seeking to heal from all sorts of degenerative diseases, and his specialty is cancer.
I've never met anyone who has had such a high success rate with helping people heal from disease like Dr. Fred Bisci. I highly recommend him if you or a loved one need help in this arena. He's now in his late 80s, still runs miles on the beach every single day and continues to successfully help people in his practice with their healing process. If you are interested in getting Fred's help, you can do so by calling his work number at 718-979-7950.
I always remember Fred saying to me that if a sick person was willing to do a cooked Whole Foods Diet, void of processed foods, forever-more, that the success rate for that person healing was tremendously high.
There are so many foods that a person can consume on a Whole Foods Diet, including brown rice, beans, baked potatoes, chicken, fish, turkey, eggs, quinoa, and so much more.
One of the more heavier and satiating foods that I used to see Fred recommend was Tinkyada Pasta, and this is the new product that we are offering you now at our store today.
When we start to improve our diet by eliminating harmful processed foods completely from our intake, it can often feel very challenging, and the heavier, more satiating foods can be very helpful for aiding our transition into a Whole Foods Diet. Tinkyada Pasta is one of those more satiating Whole Food items that can be a huge key for helping people eat healthier successfully and ultimately heal.
What is Tinkyada Pasta?
Tinkyada is a brand name of a gluten-free pasta and is made from only one ingredient; brown rice. We have this pasta available in all sizes, shapes, and forms, including spaghetti, penne, spiral, lasagna, fusilli, fettuccine, elbow, grand shell, lil dream for kids, and so on.
There are so many gluten-free pastas on the market, so I wanted to thoroughly research why Fred always recommends the Tinkyada brand, and I totally found out why! ;-)
Before we started to carry the Tinkyada pasta brand, I spent countless hours researching every single gluten-free pasta I could find on the market. Tinkyada is the only single-ingredient pasta I encountered. Every single other gluten-free pasta on the market includes corn, which to me is very unappealing for various reasons, whether it is "claimed" non-GMO or not, due to concerns of cross-contamination and so on. Furthermore, more than half of the other gluten-free pastas had other weird ingredients in them, such as isolates, soy, diglycerids, and assorted other unpronounceables.
Every single one of these Tinkyada Pasta products that we now stock contain just one or two ingredients, depending on which item you choose. The ingredients are either just brown rice, or brown rice with brown rice bran.
What is Brown Rice Bran?
Rice bran is the brown part of the rice that comes off when they are making white rice. It's the outer edges! :-) It contains various antioxidants that are beneficial for human health. It is also particularly rich in dietary fiber, essential fatty acids, and contains significant quantities of protein, vitamins, minerals, and tocotrienals (a form of Vitamin E). It's pretty much the "good stuff" of the brown rice ;-)
We have 14 different kinds of Tinkyada Pasta that you can choose from. Tinkyada only makes four 100% organic pastas and one 95% organic pasta. We got every single one of these organic pastas that they carry, because I know many of you will choose that over anything else. However, we also got their other nine items that are not organic for those of you who are on a tight budget. I feel that one of the main keys is to permanently improve our diets, and I feel that this Tinkyada non-organic pasta is better to eat than regular pasta made from white starch or any other processed foods. It's a great, inexpensive alternative. The organic pasta packages run from 10 - 12oz in size. The non-organic pastas are 16oz, so they offer more pasta at a lower price than the organic items, making it even better for your budget.
Furthermore, we are offering all of these Tinkyada Pastas "At-Cost" right now. We ordered such a large quantity that we got the necessary discount to be able to offer them to you at wholesale prices.

The Tinkyada Pasta is heavier and more satiating than the Mung Bean and Black Bean Pastas that we brought to you a few months ago. The Tinkyada Pastas are probably one of the heaviest and most satiating foods that a person can eat on a Whole Foods Diet. I love that there are heavier foods like this that are satiating while at the same time healthy to the human body. For those of us who have a difficult time eliminating processed foods from our diet, these pastas can help us detoxify at a slower rate and can also help us with the emotional issues that come up when improving one's diet.
The Tinkyada Pastas aren't for everyone though of course. For example, if you are on a 100% Raw Food Diet, then you would have no use for this pasta that requires cooking. This pasta would also probably feel too heavy for you, if you've adapted to eating only fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds and you'd most likely not feel well after eating it. It’s similar to if someone has eliminated all fast food and processed foods from their diet and are adapted to a Whole Foods Diet: they just know that eating a McDonalds Hamburger and Fries would leave them not feeling well. Therefore, I feel that these pastas are ideal for someone who is either on a cooked Whole Foods Diet or for anyone eating processed foods on the Standard American Diet, as a great, healthy alternative to standard wheat pasta!
An ultimate in the enjoyment of pasta. It cooks like any regular pasta. Award-winning taste. Al dente and not mushy. Its texture, superb.
Tinkyada carries a fine tradition of specializing in the production of pasta made from rice.
Wheat and gluten
Stovetop Cooking:Put one package of pasta into 4 quarts (3.78 lt) of boiling water and add a tablespoon salt. Stir occasionally and cook for 16-17 minutes (see also Quick and energy-saving method) until desired tenderness is reached. Rinse with cold water. Drain well. For best results, rid pasta of surface moisture. Can be served hot or warm with any kind of pasta sauce or in your favorite pasta recipes, in hot soup, in salad, stir-fried, or as a casserole. Use it as you would like any regular pasta. The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking.
